An introduction to my minimal & curated wardrobe
3 years ago, I moved abroad to Switzerland with just a couple of suitcases. Still, only one year into moving I found myself doing large declutters of nearly brand new clothes I had never really liked and had worn way too little.
With no longer having my favorite midsized danish quality stores around me to shop from, I had naturally gravitated towards fast fashion stores instead. I had also started shopping more than prior to my move, but still found myself with a wardrobe I didn’t love and which made very little cohesive sense.
Since I was buying cheap clothing, I thought I wasn’t spending a lot of money on my habit. After actually sitting down to do the math and was mortified by how much money I was spending on things that quickly had no value - to me or anyone else.
I sold and donated most of the items I had bought since moving and through the process, I realized how wasteful I had been with my own resources and that of the planet.
Since then I have been buying fewer, but better quality items which now make up most of my wardrobe. This is my blog dedicated to that wardrobe and where I share my thoughts and lessons learned along the way.
My YouTube channel is dedicated to the same.
I track what I wear every single day to calculate Cost Per Wear and to understand my personal style.
My wardrobe is made up of roughly 40-50 items at all times and under My Closet in the menu, you can view them all.
